Hospitality & Tourism Operations Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Hospitality & Tourism Operations Apprentice.

This is a paid apprenticeship opportunity combining practical workplace experience with university study in International Hospitality and Tourism Management.

You'll work across different areas of the business, gaining hands-on experience in hospitality operations, customer experience, administration, events, sales and business development while working towards your qualification.

Job Type: Full-Time Apprenticeship

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with an allocated paid study day

What you'll develop: Hospitality operations management; Customer service and guest relations; Sales and marketing; Events management; Business development; Financial and commercial awareness; Digital and social media marketing; Revenue and performance monitoring; Leadership and people management; Project management.

Support the day-to-day running of hospitality and tourism operations

Assist with bookings, reservations and customer enquiries

Deliver a high standard of customer and guest service

Support front office and general administrative duties

Help coordinate events, meetings and hospitality activities

Assist with sales, marketing and promotional campaigns

Support social media and digital marketing activity

Maintain customer, booking and operational records

Assist managers with reports, budgets and basic financial administration

Help identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business performance

Work with different departments to ensure services run smoothly

Support projects relating to tourism, hospitality and business development

You don't need previous hospitality management experience.

Customer focused with good attention to detail

Interested in developing into a future management position

£27,000 starting salary

Full-time paid employment

Allocated paid study time alongside your role

Practical experience within the hospitality and tourism industry

Support from your workplace manager and university
